The admission page does not establish every possible cost for a visit. Bring a separate payment method for transport, food, rentals or other services. Ask the authority directly if parking, a group setup or a special event affects your plan.

The authority lists restrooms, semi-salt-water showers, picnic areas, a restaurant and bar, and rentals that include chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling gear. Its FAQ also lists kayaking and paddleboarding among the water activities. Picnic sheds and the surrounding trails expand the day beyond a towel on the sand.

A facility listing is not a guarantee that a particular item, concession or rental size will be available when you arrive. Bring essential water, medication and sun protection. The Magens Bay Authority presents the sheltered bay and swimming as central parts of the park experience, and it lists snorkeling gear for rent. That makes snorkeling possible, but it does not make a particular reef, visibility level or wildlife encounter predictable. Treat snorkeling as an optional part of this beach day rather than the reason the entire plan succeeds.
